We've strengthened our senior management with three significant promotions.
Paul Torode joined us last year as Head of Managed Services & Security at our Guernsey development hub. Paul has now been promoted to Group Information Security Officer to manage the company's complex information and cyber security responsibilities. He boasts more than 19 years’ experience in security, IT, data centre and network operations.
Chris Corbin, First Central Group’s Head of Technical Change, has been promoted to the new role of Head of Customer Service (Technology); his new role will ensure group IT continues to deliver excellent levels of customer service. Chris will also be responsible for the rapid turnaround of live fixes to our fully bespoke, inhouse-built insurance platform.
Guy Oliver has been appointed to the strategically important role of Group Head of IT Operations, where he will assume overall responsibility for product development and production support. Guy has spent the majority of his career working for insurance software providers in most aspects of general insurance and has held many senior management roles looking after business divisions and large client implementation programmes in the UK and North America. Since January 2016, Guy has been leading the development of our new Claims system.
