We’re proud to sponsor the Guernsey FA under-16 Academy and last season we were pleased to see the team take on new experiences, challenges and opponents via several trips to the UK.

The Guernsey FA Academy is a fantastic organisation that gives young athletes the opportunity to grow, on and off the pitch, through excellent training programmes and several community initiatives. The Academy focuses on the positive development of young people, which replicates our values as a business.

The under-16 team had a challenging season, facing a few very experienced academies in Burnley FC, Blackpool FC and AFC Wimbledon. The team played these games with great maturity and composure and the trips were vital to the players’ learning, development and growing team bond.

It wasn’t all football for the team though. Throughout the season, the squad took responsibility for their training kit, footballs and the changing room cleanliness. They also organised a popular children’s event – Race for David – on behalf of the Sunflower Project and Youth Commission.
