We love to help the communities where we work, and that’s why we’ve been spreading the festive cheer by taking part in various activities to help local people in need this Christmas.

We took part in the Christmas Hamper Project for the King’s Church, and, thanks to the generosity of our people, we managed to put together 50 hampers full of goods that will be distributed to help disadvantaged families in the Mid Sussex area this Christmas.

We also wrapped over 45 gifts and delivered them to the elderly people of Guernsey. Our contribution, alongside a number of other local companies, means that every person receiving care in the community in Guernsey will receive a gift this Christmas.

Meanwhile, our Gibraltar people and their friends at Robus have been busy collecting gifts for the residents of local retirement home, Mount Alvernia. Goodies including slippers, blankets and bubble bath were gratefully received by Susan Vallejo of the government’s Elderly Residential Services.

And an impressive 27 employees volunteered at Mission Christmas, an initiative organised by charity, Cash for Kids, to make sure Manchester’s underprivileged youngsters have at least one Christmas present to open.

We also helped one of our charities of the year, the EBA, by wrapping presents and filling stockings, which will be given to the parents and siblings of the sick babies who’ll be cared for in the special care baby units in Brighton and Haywards Heath hospitals on Christmas day.
