Recently we heard the fantastic news that 1st Central had received the Institute of Customer Service ServiceMark Award for the third time!

The award represents what our customers and colleague say about how much we focus on our customers, demonstrating our commitment to customer service and upholding high standards as part of our long-term strategy.

What is the ServiceMark accreditation?

The ICS had some fantastic feedback for us, stating that our submission was one of the best they'd seen:

“This is the third time 1st Central have achieved a ServiceMark accreditation and it was easy to see why. The company’s unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service, combined with their proactive approach to addressing customer needs and concerns sets them apart.”

The celebration of our award coincided with National Customer Service Week, held at the beginning of October and featuring a number of events and activities across our locations. Sally Clarke, our Customer Director, had this to say:

"National Customer Service Week is here, and this week is all about celebrating you, the fantastic people behind our outstanding customer experience.

"Each one of us has an impact on the experience our customers have, whether you're designing great products, speaking with customers directly, providing assurance around our controls and regulatory compliance, delivering new capabilities, and everything in between!

‌‌"We've had some great successes recently. Our NPS has hit a record high, while as we know, we've also been celebrating being awarded the Institute of Customer Service’s prestigious ServiceMark for the third time in a row. This week is our chance to recognise all the effort that goes into making that happen."

We're always making strides in the way we do things, making sure we provide support to our customers in ways that they value. We hope this approach will see us retain the ServiceMark for a fourth time when the accreditation returns again in a few years.
