Car insurance provider, 1ST CENTRAL, has sold its three millionth policy since launching nine years ago, following a highly successful year of business growth.
The company, which employs over 650 employees in Haywards Heath and Manchester, has reported a turnover of almost £100 million, up by 70 per cent year on year, and increased profit by more than 300 per cent year on year from £1.1m to £4m.
This record milestone for 1ST CENTRAL comes as the business reports over 430,000 live policies and a period of continued investment into the company. The group in which 1ST CENTRAL operates has strategically refocused its claims and counter fraud services team, enabling the business to provide an improved and more efficient service to customers, and support the planned growth of the business for 2017 and beyond.
As a result of this growth, 1ST CENTRAL’s Manchester office has seen tremendous success since its opening and now employs over 180 people at its Exchange Quay hub.
1ST CENTRAL has been recognised in the insurance industry as one of the top insurance brokers in the UK and during 2017 has achieved a multitude of award shortlists.
